How you can help
It is an enormous task to truly fulfill our mission and requires the participation of all of society. The Deaf population need not be segregated, if we all participate in their education and habilitation. Special training is required, special sensitivities need to be addressed. But all this is possible if we join hands. All children have a right to good education and these are no exception. Together we can make it happen. Join the Umang family and together we can realize this dream. We need-
- Donations towards the building, block, or floor
- Donation for garden and play area development
- Donate a classroom room with furniture and all fixtures.
- Donation for libraries for children and professional for staff – books and toys for children, professional books and journals, computers and cds., cupboards and furniture.
- Donation for Special Rooms like Science and Math Laboratories, Speech Therapy Room, Art and Craft Room, Computer Laboratory, Dining Area, Audio Visual Rooms, Sewing Rooms, Beauty Parlour, Ear Mould lab, Kitchen, Ceramics Unit, Screen Printing Unit, etc.
- Donation for a totally equipped Diagnostic Unit
- Donation for a Mobile Diagnostic Unit and its running cost.
- Donation for a Mobile Early Intervention Centre and its running cost
- Donation for setting up of Materials Development Centre- computers, printers, scanners, laminator, spiral binder, photocopier machine, paper, furniture
- Donation towards publication and distribution of materials developed for parents and teachers
- Donation towards the different Vocational Rehabilitation Centres - their establishment and running cost
- Donations for maintenance of centre and to meet recurring expenses.
- Donations towards staff salaries.
- Donations towards field trips and outings
- Donations towards teaching activities and running costs
- Donations towards hearing aids for children and FM amplification systems in classes.
- Donations towards school buses and their running cost.
- Donation towards development of teaching materials for distribution to parents and schools and its printing and publication.

- Sponsor a child ( Cost of hearing aid and its maintenance. total cost of educating the child – books, transport, other services for 1 year)
- Sponsor a class of 8 children ( Cost of running a class each year)
